Pharmacy Assistant
Pharmacy Assistant Position Available (full time). Only apply if you live in Victoria, B.C
Key responsibilities of a Pharmacy Assistant include:
-Assists Pharmacist in the filling and dispensing process of the prescription
-Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
-Greets and assists patients at counters, retrieves prescriptions, processes register transactions
-Maintains inventory – orders and stocks drugs, supplies and OTC merchandise
-Verifies prescriptions and refills with physicians by phone/fax as needed
-Prepares third-party insurance claims
