As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support safe, organized pharmacy operations and help patients receive attentive, timely care. You will work with pharmacy colleagues to prepare and manage medication-related tasks, communicate clearly, and contribute to a dependable patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Support medication preparation and handling in accordance with established procedures, checking details carefully and escalating questions to the appropriate colleague.
- Assist with medication administration tasks within the role’s scope and coordinate with the care team to support patient needs.
- Use medical terminology accurately when communicating and documenting relevant information.
- Maintain organized records and share timely updates with colleagues to help keep care coordinated.
Skills Required:
Careful attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to use medical terminology while supporting patient care and medication-related tasks. Preferred but not mandatory : Pharmacy technician experience and hospital experience, along with familiarity with medication administration and team-oriented care.
