Day shift – 7 am – 3pm

Duties:

- Maintenance of site equipment
- Completion of preventative and predictive maintenance inspections and repairs of all plumbing related equipment within area of responsibility
- Carrying out assigned daily maintenance tasks with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
- Manage through emergency breakdowns
- Support in root cause and prevention of future downtime events
- Work collaboratively with operators and other classifications across the site to reduce downtime, safety and quality risks
- Communicating clearly during shift handovers and team meetings to ensure smooth coordination across teams and work orders
- Demonstrating strong troubleshooting abilities and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
- Manage through emergency breakdowns

Qualifications:

- Mandatory:



Must currently possess a valid journeyman plumbing ticket in the province of Ontario
- A valid millwright, electrical, pipe fitter/welder, and/or power engineering ticket in the province of Ontario would be an asset
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Robust work ethic, with a positive attitude and motivation to succeed in a team environment
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs as required
- Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability
- Exceptional communication skills and basic computer literacy
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and recording hours
- Must be flexible and available to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the operation
