The Production Machine Operator is responsible for operating several different types of machinery for fabricating metal products to maintain production inventory. The incumbent must be comfortable operating machinery independently and under the direction of the supervisor. Additional tasks include material handling, maintaining and cleaning machines as well as work areas.

Requirements:

- Education: Secondary School Diploma
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience:
- 1 – 3 years of machine operation experience in a metal fabrication manufacturing environment
- Company will provide specific onsite training
- Skills:
- Accuracy with hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity tasks
- Attention to detail for quality control of products
- Ability to maintain focus through repetitive tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Works well independently and as a team player
- Punctual and reliable
- Personal Protective Equipment:
- Safety boots (CSA green triangle)
- Coveralls
- No tools required; supplied by company

Job Type: Full time Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
