About Us

D Rock Paving Inc. is an Ontario-based civil construction company specializing in asphalt paving, road reconstruction, concrete works, excavation, and municipal infrastructure projects.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator with strong analytical and cost-control skills to support our construction operations, with a primary focus on project cost tracking, budget control, and cost-to-complete reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Track daily project costs, including labour, equipment, trucking, materials, and subcontractors.
- Monitor actual costs against estimated budgets, identify variances, and flag potential cost overruns.
- Prepare weekly cost-to-complete reports, including remaining budgets, forecast final costs, and expected gross margins.
- Review foreman reports, timesheets, equipment hours, and material quantities for accuracy.
- Assist with quantity takeoffs, progress billing, change orders, and project documentation.
- Coordinate schedules and project activities with Project Managers, site supervisors, suppliers, subcontractors, and municipal clients.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, budgets, inspections, and deadlines.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- 2–4 years of relevant construction or project coordination experience preferred.




- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including cost tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with MS Project or similar construction management software.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, perform quantity takeoffs, and understand labour, equipment, and material costing.
- Experience in municipal road construction, asphalt paving, or heavy civil projects is an asset.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence preferred.
