Job SummaryThe Ready-Mix Sales Manager develops customer relationships and grows business through consultative sales, account management, and market-focused planning. This role combines outside sales, customer service, and team leadership to connect customer needs with practical solutions and support lasting partnerships.

Duties

- Lead B2B sales and business development, identifying prospects, building a pipeline, and managing opportunities from initial contact through close.
- Maintain customer accounts, provide responsive service, negotiate agreements, and coordinate with colleagues to deliver a consistent customer experience.
- Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting and reporting any mechanical issues, maintenance needs, or defects.
- Monitor and replenish job-essential fluids and supplies, including concrete admixtures, washdown water, and basic vehicle operating fluids.
- Use Salesforce, tablets, smartphones, and other relevant technology to track activity, analyze sales performance, manage digital dispatch/delivery updates, and guide account and territory plans.
- Support marketing efforts, share market insights, and lead sales activities that strengthen customer relationships and business growth.

Experience Required: Practical sales, customer service, negotiation, analysis, and account management capabilities support effective customer engagement and opportunity development. Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and be comfortable using digital on-board devices, tablets, and smartphones for dispatch updates, delivery tracking, and digital tickets.

Preferred: Direct experience in ready-mix sales or the wider concrete industry; B2B, outside, technical, or technology sales experience; Salesforce familiarity; marketing and business development strengths; and leadership experience.

Assets & Nice-to-Haves

- Direct experience in ready-mix sales or the concrete industry.
- A current Commercial Driver’s Abstract (3- to 5-year clean abstract).
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification or related safety/equipment training.
- Experience with Command Alkon dispatch/batching software, CRM platforms, or digital quote-to-cash workflows.

Pay: $48,100.00-$153,000.00 per year
