Sticks and Stones Rebar is hiring hardworking, reliable individuals to join our reinforcing ironwork crew. This is physically demanding work involving heavy lifting, carrying reinforcing steel, repetitive bending, and working outdoors.
Job duties
- Lift, carry, and position reinforcing steel and construction materials.
- Place, tie, and secure rebar as directed by the crew lead.
- Load and unload materials.
- Keep job sites clean and organized.
- Follow instructions and site safety procedures.
- Help with general construction labour as needed.
What we’re looking for
- Ability to perform heavy physical labour throughout the workday.
- Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather.
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Calgary and surrounding areas.
- Rebar installation, construction, or labour experience is an asset.
