QUALIFICATIONS

RECE - College of ECE Membership in good standing

Standard First Aid and CPR

Police Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector

SKILLS, ABILITY AND EXPERIENCE

· Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR

· Valid Police Records Check for Service with the Vulnerable Sector

· Up-to-date vaccinations

· Valid Work permit (If applicable)

· Experience working with young children in a group environment

· Oral and written fluency in English is required.

· High level of professionalism and tact

· Solid team communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

· Computer literate (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft)

· Experience relating directly to parents/caregivers

· Experience with and sensitivity to all cultures and socio-economic groups

· Ability to be flexible with changes

· Acting as a role model for co-workers and students by promoting positive relationships in the work environment and setting professional goals and objectives for the program

· Supervision of volunteers and students

Rotating depending on the needs of the program

Monday to Friday

7.5 hrs Daily

RATE OF PAY

Non-RECE - $35,784.68 - $39,086.19 +Wage Enhancement grant + benefits

RECE- $42,715.77 - $47,505.46+Wage enhancement grant + CWELCC wage increase+ benefits

Annual increase as per the Collective Agreement

START DATE
