Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with occasional overtime.

We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Receiver / Material Handler to join our warehouse team.

About the Role The Receiver / Material Handler is responsible for the safe and accurate receipt, movement, storage, and distribution of materials throughout the warehouse. This role plays a key part in supporting production operations and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

- Unload inbound shipments using a pump truck or forklift
- Verify received goods against shipping documentation
- Label products accurately with descriptions, part numbers, and quantities
- Move inventory from inspection to warehouse rack locations and record transactions in the ERP system
- Supply materials to production areas as required
- Support warehouse organization and rack consolidation initiatives
- Retrieve materials from storage locations for the Picking and Packing team
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts and reach trucks




- Prepare daily receiving reports
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies, and health and safety requirements
- Assist with light assembly and other material-handling tasks as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid forklift certification with a minimum of 1 year before expiry and experience operating:
- Counterbalance forklifts
- Narrow Aisle Reach trucks
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse, receiving, or material handling role
- Experience with ERP systems and basic computer skills considered an asset
- Ability to safely lift 30 lbs.
- Comfortable using hand tools
- Furniture manufacturing experience is an asset
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Team-oriented with a positive work ethic
