Job Summary

Burnham Dental is hiring a Registered Dental Hygienist, to join our team! This role combines providing excellent oral hygiene care, attentive patient education, clinical support, and accurate documentation to help the dental team deliver a smooth, welcoming visit. This position is four days per week.

Duties

- Provide dental hygiene care and explain preventive practices in clear, patient-friendly language.
- Knowledge and utilization of perio staging & grading.
- Support pediatric visits, adapting communication to patients’ needs and comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records in Abeldent and use dental terminology appropriately.
- Your impact: Clear guidance helps patients understand their care and supports coordinated visits.

Qualifications Required: Robust communication, patient-focused customer service, attention to detail,



and the ability to document care accurately and work collaboratively in a dental setting. Familiarity with dental hygiene duties and dental terminology supports safe, clear patient interactions.

Preferred: Dental office experience, Abeldent software, strong knowledge of perio staging and grading.

Any knowledge of RNA180 software would be considered an asset.

Compensation

Negotiable, in relation to experience

Expected hours: 32.0 per week
