About Us

Huatuo Clinic is an acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic affiliated with the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACATCM). We provide personalized, client-centred care in a professional and welcoming environment.

We are seeking a Registered Massage Therapist who enjoys helping clients improve their well-being, building lasting relationships, and working collaboratively with other healthcare practitioners.

About the Role

You will provide therapeutic massage tailored to each client’s needs, with a focus on assessment, treatment, and ongoing care. This is a clinical position with no teaching responsibilities.

Our clinic uses Jane App for booking and clinical documentation. Compensation will be discussed during the interview.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess clients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide safe, effective therapeutic massage within your training and scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
- Explain treatment options, obtain informed consent, and recommend appropriate home care.
- Maintain a clean,



comfortable treatment space and protect client privacy.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support coordinated care and a positive client experience.

Qualifications

- Completion of a recognized massage therapy program with at least 2,200 hours of training.
- Membership in positive standing with a recognized Alberta massage therapy association.
- Eligibility to issue receipts accepted by extended health insurers.
- Current qualified liability insurance and required local licensing.
- Clear communication, sound professional judgment, and a warm, respectful approach.
- Reliability and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Additional massage modalities, current First Aid/CPR certification, and experience with Jane App are assets.
