In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate and Reporting to the Regional Manager and in accordance with broader organizational objectives, the Regional Nursing Lead functions as a leader and expert in the field of the assigned program area(s) and is responsible for contributing to the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Northern Health strategic policy and initiatives of the assigned program area(s). This position will link with internal and external partners in supporting the assigned program area(s)



strategies and will integrate knowledge related to nursing practice, health information, population health, health equity, teaching and learning, community development, and social marketing initiatives.

The Regional Nursing

Lead provides clinical guidance to Northern Health staff and physicians as well as develops policy and provides educational opportunities to support nursing staff and other service providers to implement the assigned program area(s) strategies and interventions. Responsible for supervising staff.

This is a regional position, relief part-time until May 4, 2028 or return of incumbent (whichever is earliest). Week 1: M-W 0830-1630 and week 2: M-T 0830-1630 and W 0830-1230.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:30 to 16:30, 08:30 to 12:30
