Bayview Rehabilitation is a multidisciplinary physiotherapy-owned clinic servicing North Toronto and surrounding communities for over 50 years. The clinic is located on the second floor in the professional services section of a plaza with ample free parking right by the entrance to the clinic and it’s easily accessible by public transit. The clinic is 1300 square feet, has 10 spacious well-lit treatment areas, a fully equipped small gym, onsite laundry and an office.

We are dedicated to providing our clients with individualized treatment programs to optimize their recovery, prevent injury and aim to provide them with the care they need and the care they deserve. We employ physiotherapists, kinesiologists, physiotherapy assistants, personal trainers, massage therapists and acupuncturists.

We are an experienced team looking to bring on a Registered Physiotherapist to our growing clinic. Our current physiotherapists are fully booked and it would be relatively quick to build up a busy and rewarding caseload. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and experienced physiotherapist or new physiotherapist graduate / resident who enjoys working in an engaging and supportive workplace.

Our clinicians provide comprehensive client care using innovative treatment plans designed to help them achieve their rehab goals. You’ll have the opportunity to build your caseload quickly as we have strong referral sources.

Requirements

- Must have a valid Bachelor or Masters Degree in Physiotherapy from an Accredited Physiotherapy Program.
- Active license in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Professional Liability Insurance.

Experience:
- Both recent graduates and existing practitioners are welcome to apply.
- Strong manual therapy skills, exercise prescription, and / or acupuncture / dry needling / IMS encouraged.
- Mackenzie Certification is an asset.




- Vestibular rehab and pelvic health rehab experience or interest is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Competently perform physiotherapy assessment, establish a physiotherapy diagnosis and prognosis, develop and implement a treatment strategy, evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention, and communicate with the client, family and health care team.
- Provide evidence-based physiotherapy intervention to enable clients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes, by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Build positive rapport with clients to establish and build lasting relationships.

- Document all assessments and interventions.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Follow College of Physiotherapy Practice Guidelines.
- Adhere to infection control practices and other clinic policies.
