Go World Ministries is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and responsible Relief Worker to provide temporary and flexible support to individuals and community members requiring assistance with daily activities, personal care, social inclusion, and general well-being.

The successful candidate will provide support when regular staff members are unavailable, during scheduled absences, or when additional staffing coverage is required. The ideal candidate should demonstrate empathy, patience, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to serving individuals and strengthening communities.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide assistance and support to individuals with daily living activities.
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and mobility where required.
- Promote independence, dignity, inclusion, and individual well-being.
- Support meal preparation, housekeeping, and daily routines.
- Assist individuals with community participation, outings, and appointments.
- Provide emotional, social, and practical support.
- Observe and report concerns or changes in individuals' well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and daily activity reports.
- Respect confidentiality and follow organizational policies and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors,



colleagues, volunteers, and community partners.
- Provide relief staffing coverage as operational needs arise.

Qualifications and Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in community support, caregiving, social services, or a related field is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, trustworthy, and dependable.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
- Criminal record and vulnerable sector checks may be required, depending on assigned duties.

Employment Type: Relief / Casual Work Workplace: Community-based support and service settings.
