F11 Piling Solutions is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Rigger to join our piling crews based in Grande Prairie, Alberta. This is a hands-on field position working directly with pile driving and drilling crews on industrial, oil and gas, and heavy construction projects throughout Alberta and Western Canada.

Responsibilities

- Rig, guide, position, and handle steel piles and piling materials during installation and removal.
- Work closely with pile driver operators, crane/picker operators, welders, and supervisors to safely execute lifts and piling activities.
- Inspect slings, shackles, hooks, chains, tag lines, and other rigging equipment before use.
- Use proper hand signals and radio communication when directing equipment and suspended loads.
- Assist with loading, unloading, staging, measuring, and organizing piles and materials on site.
- Maintain safe positioning and awareness around cranes, pile drivers, excavators, loaders, trucks, and other heavy equipment.
- Assist with general labour, site setup, equipment preparation, and housekeeping as required.
- Follow lift plans, safe work procedures, hazard assessments, and F11 safety requirements.
- Work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions and travel to project locations as required.

Qualifications

- Previous rigging, piling, crane, oilfield, industrial construction, or heavy civil experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of safe rigging practices, load control, hand signals, and working around suspended loads is a strong asset.




- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment in an active construction environment.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred.
- Current industry safety tickets applicable to Alberta field work are assets (for example CSTS/CSO, First Aid, H2S Alive and Ground Disturbance).
- Physically capable of performing demanding outdoor work, including lifting, climbing, walking on uneven terrain, and working in changing weather conditions.
- Ability to work extended hours and out of town when project schedules require.
- Robust communication skills, reliability, and a team-first attitude.
