Laid Well Roofing Ltd is looking for 2 experienced shingle roofers to join our crew for the season here in Kelowna.This is a tough, physically demanding construction job. You will be tearing off old roofs, prepping decks, and installing current asphalt and fiberglass shingles on residential jobs.
Work Conditions:
- Heavy Lifting: You must be able to lift heavy bundles of shingles all day long.
- Heights & Danger: We work at heights on steep slopes. You must be comfortable on ladders/roofs and take fall safety seriously.
- The Environment: Expect long days. It gets very hot in the summer, and the work can be dangerous.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of roofing experience is required.
- Education: None required.
- Language:
English (needed for safety communication on site).
- Certifications: You must hold a valid, current Working at Heights certificate (Fall Protection training).
- Vehicle: You must have a valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle to get yourself to different job sites around Kelowna and surrounding areas every day.
- Background Check: A criminal record check is required before hiring.
