We're Hiring!

We are looking for experienced Roofing Foremen and Crew Leaders to join our team and take a leadership role in managing roofing projects.

We welcome candidates with experience in commercial flat roofing, residential shingling, or both. Experience in both roofing systems is an asset, but not required.

The ideal candidate is a skilled roofer who can independently lead a crew, organize work efficiently, maintain high standards of workmanship, and ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule.

We offer opportunities for year-round employment, with commercial flat roofing projects continuing through the winter months and residential shingling projects during the warmer seasons.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise roofing crews on commercial flat roofing and/or residential shingling projects.
- Coordinate daily job site activities, assign responsibilities, and ensure crews are working efficiently.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and replacement of roofing systems in accordance with project specifications and manufacturer requirements.
- Plan daily work activities, including material requirements, equipment, labour, and job site preparation.




- Monitor workmanship and ensure roofing installations meet company quality standards.
- Identify and resolve job site challenges, including roofing deficiencies and installation issues.
- Ensure compliance with Ontario workplace health and safety requirements, including fall protection and safe equipment operation.
- Communicate project progress, material needs, scheduling concerns, and other issues to management.
- Train, mentor, and support less experienced roofers and labourers.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of roofing experience, with preference given to candidates with previous crew leadership or supervisory experience.
- Robust technical knowledge of flat roofing, residential shingling, or both.
- Ability to independently organize and supervise a roofing crew.
- Valid Ontario G driver's licence is required.
- Ability to reliably travel to job sites throughout Eastern Ontario as required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret roofing drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
- Knowledge of Ontario construction safety regulations and secure roofing practices.
- Reliable, punctual,



and committed to delivering quality workmanship.
- Physically capable of performing roofing work and comfortable working at heights.

Additional Assets

- Experience with torch-applied modified bitumen roofing systems.
- Experience installing asphalt and SBS shingles.
- Previous experience as a roofing foreman, lead hand, or crew supervisor.
- Experience with SOPREMA roofing systems.
- Valid Ontario Working at Heights and WHMIS certifications.
- Experience coordinating materials, equipment, and labour across roofing projects.

Compensation & Advantages

- Competitive compensation based on experience, technical ability, and leadership skills.
- Monthly Attendance Bonus: Earn an additional $2.00 per hour for all eligible hours worked during a month with no unexcused absences or late arrivals. Bonus eligibility is assessed monthly.

Pay: $35.00-$60.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 44.0 per week
