Cheers Liquor & Wine is looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking Sales Associate to join our team! We are looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, is organized, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

The ideal candidate must have a flexible schedule and be available to work evening shifts until 10:00 PM, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful customer service.
- Operate the cash register and process cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately.
- Stock shelves, organize products, and maintain inventory.
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming deliveries.
- Lift and move heavy inventory, including cases of liquor, beer, and other products.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and well-presented.
- Assist customers with product selections and promotions.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock products as needed.
- Follow Alberta liquor regulations and verify customer identification when required.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including end-of-day cleaning and cash procedures.

Qualifications




- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Alberta ProServe certification before performing liquor service duties.
- Previous retail or cashier experience is required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable lifting and carrying heavy boxes and inventory.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods.
- Must be available for evening shifts until 10:00 PM and weekends.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods.
