Location: Scarborough, Toronto – Sunny Shutter Inc. (near 690 Progress Ave)
About Us: Local factory + showroom specializing in custom zebra blinds, roller shades, shutters and curtains.
Main Responsibilities
- Welcome walk-in customers and handle phone / online inquiries, understand their needs and recommend suitable window covering solutions (zebra blinds, roller shades, shutters, curtains, etc.)
- Prepare quotations using our price list and simple quoting software, and follow up with customers
- Conduct on-site measurements as scheduled, or coordinate with our measurer; record window sizes and basic site conditions
- Follow the full order process: confirm order details, coordinate with the installation team on scheduling, and handle basic after-sales communication
- Maintain the showroom image: organize samples, fabric books and displays
- Build and maintain good relationships with existing customers, encourage reviews and referrals to improve customer satisfaction
- Assist with other sales-related daily tasks assigned by the company
Requirements
- Enjoy communicating with people, strong customer service mindset, not afraid to talk to new clients
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work long-term and steadily
- Basic computer skills (e.g.
Excel / simple quoting software, etc.)
- Good time management and self-discipline; able to work on weekends in a rotating schedule
- Hold a valid Ontario driver’s licence and able to visit clients for measurements and consultations (company vehicle provided)
- Sales experience in window coverings, home renovation, building materials, furniture, or real estate is an asset
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin (Chinese) + English is a strong asset
Compensation
- Compensation structure: base salary + sales commission (details to be discussed in the interview)
- Product training and sales script training provided, with clear room for growth
