Job Summary

As a Security Guard, you help maintain a safe, orderly environment through attentive observation, visible presence, and prompt communication. You monitor activity, follow established procedures, and respond calmly to concerns, supporting the well-being of people and protection of property.

Duties

- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, observe entrances and shared spaces, and report unusual activity or safety concerns.
- Monitor CCTV systems, maintain awareness of developing situations, and communicate relevant observations to appropriate colleagues.
- Apply loss prevention practices, document incidents accurately, and follow site procedures when responding to disturbances or emergencies.
- Provide clear, courteous directions to visitors and coordinate with colleagues to support a consistent, professional security presence.

Qualifications

Required: Practical observation, clear communication, sound judgment, accurate recordkeeping, and the ability to follow procedures are essential to patrols, CCTV monitoring, and incident reporting. Preferred: Related security or law enforcement experience, along with familiarity with loss prevention practices and CCTV systems, can support effective responses and dependable teamwork.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
