Job Overview The Security Officer helps maintain a safe, orderly environment through attentive observation, visible presence, and timely response to concerns. This role supports people on site by identifying potential risks, communicating clearly, and following established procedures. Officers work with colleagues to share relevant observations and help resolve issues calmly and consistently.

Responsibilities

- Monitor assigned areas through regular patrols and surveillance, noting unusual activity and potential safety concerns.
- Observe CCTV feeds, report relevant incidents, and preserve accurate, timely records of observations and actions.
- Support loss prevention by identifying suspicious activity and promptly escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
- Respond calmly to incidents,



communicate with people on site, and coordinate with colleagues to support a safe resolution.

Skills Required: Solid observation, clear communication, sound judgment, and accurate recordkeeping support effective surveillance, incident reporting, and loss prevention. Preferred: Experience in security or law enforcement, familiarity with CCTV systems, and related loss prevention skills are advantageous. Your impact: Timely, reliable observations help colleagues respond to concerns and keep the environment safer.

Pay: $18.25-$18.65 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 per week
