Celestica is hiring a Senior AI Engineer for its Data & Analytics team in Toronto, Ontario. This hybrid role translates business challenges into scalable AI and machine-learning solutions, from requirements and architecture through production deployment.

Responsibilities

- Gather and document AI/ML requirements with stakeholders, assess feasibility, and define model approaches and success metrics.
- Identify and prepare data, design ingestion pipelines for vector databases, and collaborate on secure, compliant data flows.
- Develop prompts and orchestration workflows; evaluate foundation models and define specifications for integrations and user interfaces.
- Apply MLOps practices for CI/CD, monitor model performance and drift, and uphold data governance, security, and responsible AI principles.

Qualifications





- 11+ years of experience in IT, software engineering, or data science, including significant AI/ML work and 3–5 years focused on AI/ML engineering or architecture.
- Advanced Python skills and experience with AI/ML libraries, generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and vector databases.
- Experience architecting AI solutions for production; familiarity with cloud AI services and MLOps tools is desirable.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience and specialized certification.

Compensation

Estimated annual range: CAD $98,241–$164,554, including base salary and target short-term incentive. Benefits are offered in addition.
