The Coordinator, Volunteer Engagement, organizes and coordinates volunteers in various programs that contribute to the perks and services offered to VIHA clients. As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, the Coordinator supports the administration of recruitment, online training, and recognition of volunteers.

QUALIFICATIONS : Education, Training And Experience : High school graduation plus additional study in a related field.



At least 3 years' experience in a paid or unpaid Volunteer Coordination position. Knowledge or familiarity of the Volunteer Management Theory Cycle considered an asset.

Skills And Abilities :

- Superior computer and technological skills (MS Office Suite required)
- Demonstrated administrative skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience working with a database.
- Demonstrated experience as a volunteer is an asset.
- Supporting volunteer teams is an asset.
- Willingness to learn new online systems.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
