Clover Tool Manufacturing Limited is Canadian based and owned, privately held company. We specialize in automotive tooling, stampings and assemblies. We are capable of running a number of diverse projects. Today, Clover Tool operates in over a 175,000 square foot facility providing a full service solution to its customers.
We are seeking a results-driven Controller to lead financial operations for an automotive manufacturing environment. The Controller is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls, as well as driving process improvements within the finance department. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, cost control, and provides strategic financial insights to support operational and business decision-making.
Location : Concord, Ontario (close to Keele St. and Highway 7)
Hour of Work : Monday to Friday (8:00am
- 4:30pm)

Responsibilities :
- Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
- Provide leadership to the accounts payable/accounts receivable personnel
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
- Develop financial and tax strategies
- Manage the budgeting processes
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
- Oversee the company's transaction processing systems
- Implement operational best practices
- Maximize a cost-effective benefits package
- Review control systems
- Review insurance coverage
- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
- Issue timely and complete financial statements
- Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations
- Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
- Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
- Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
- Maintain the management cost reports
- Provide financial analyses for pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
- CPA or CMA designation
- At least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Financial planning and strategy skills
- Ability to prepare financial budgets
- High level of written and oral communication skills
- Must have demonstrated ability to research and interpret data
