Are you a tech-savvy administrative professional with a knack for keeping people connected? The City of Edmonton’s Community Services department is looking for a proactive and organized Department Telephony Coordinator to join the Deputy City Manager’s Office. In this vital role, you will be the go-to expert for all things telecom, ensuring our front-line and field staff have the tools they need to serve our community safely and effectively. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting where your problem-solving skills make a tangible impact every day, we want to hear from you!

As the Department Telephony Coordinator, you will manage the end-to-end administration of telephony services for over 120 facility locations and 2,400 mobile devices. You will also serve as a key Tenant Representative for the Edmonton Tower, coordinating space planning and office moves for multiple floors. This role requires a high degree of independence, as you will prioritize urgent requests from safety-sensitive areas—like Peace Officers and river valley park staff—without needing constant supervision. - Develop and deliver training to staff on the use of telecom products and adherence to City policies
- Represent the department on Corporate Telecom committees and maintain strong relationships with internal collaborators and external vendors
- Other duties as assigned
