Summary

We are seeking an Estimator/Parts Manager to join our team at Fix Auto Haldimand County. In this pivotal role, you will meet with prepare estimates, supplements and repair orders, map & review damages to vehicles, prepare and present estimates and supplements, schedule repairs, interact with insurance companies and customers, oversee parts orders/returns, update vehicle status for customers/insurers, complete file closures as per our SOPs.

Responsibilities

- Writing estimates based on manger's notes, body tech's notes, customer photos or your own observations with a customer or vehicle.

- Writing supplements for on-going repairs and providing justification evidence.

- Control parts orders, organization and returns.

- Inspection of parts to ensure correct items are recieved.

- Organizing parts for repair on carts, stands or stalls

- Taking, transferring, sorting and labelling digital vehicle repair and damage photos.

- Review insurance assignments, repair orders and estimates and schedule work to be performed.

- Create repair estimates for customers according to our SOP's and insurance company practices/guidelines.

- Develop estimates with a focus on damage documentatin and restoring pre-accident condition.

- Complete estimate follow up with customers and retrieve authorization.





- Monitor vehicle production in collaboration with production personnel to update vehicle status for customers/insurers

- Closing of RO files in collaboration with production personnel.

- Maintin a production board of work-in-progress with mangement.

- Other related tasks as required.

- Qualifications :

- High school at minimum, 310B license optional.

- Experience in estimating and collision parts management.

- Body Shop Repair Industry experience is beneficial.

- Experience and competence with estimating systems (MCE Mitchell Cloud Estimating & Audatex) and Management software (Mitchell Repair Center).

- Solid mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive design and safety.

- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on satisfaction.

- Sales experience is a plus.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficient in service writing and communication.

- Possess a valid drives' license.

- Proven leadership and track record of success.

- Ability to work independently in a busy environment.

- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.

- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

- Ability to work well under pressure.

- Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
