- We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Supervisor to join our growing logistics team in Milton Ontario. _
- Compensation :_$80,000.00
- Shift :_Mon-Fri 07:00-16:00, rotational weekend coverage as required

Detailed Responsibilities and expected results :

1. Provide exceptional Customer Service by;

- Ensuing proactive tracking and tracing by all Logistics Coordinators and Customer Service Representatives
- Communicate any changes, delays or service issues to the customers, shippers or consignees.
- Ensure the verification of all pick-up and delivery information to ensure completeness and achievability
- Ensure custom broker information is complete, and bill rate reflects all accessorial charges.
- Resolve carrier service issues directly, re-negotiating rates as required.
- Source and qualify carriers and obtain competitive rates.
- Provide costing information based on current market conditions to Logistics Team as required.
- Contact and develop carriers to secure required equipment, meet service expectations and obtain cost-effective rates.
- Form and mutually beneficial carrier/broker relationships.

- Provide leadership and actively coach and provide feedback to foster and build a team environment to achieve operational and individual accountabilities by;

- Enforcement of established policies and procedures
- Ensure all shipments have rate confirmations, POD’s and lumper receipts uploaded.
- Holding staff accountable when procedures are not followed resulting in performance issues and/or poor customer service
- Regularly reviewing department SOP’s to ensure they are up to date




- Assisting Account Executives with generating customer SOP’s for individual accounts to ensure accounts are served properly.
- Ensure proactive communication with customers on all shipments
- Collaborate and offer support to team members in delivering optimal transportation service solutions.
- Ensure all shippers and consignees are contacted to confirm truck requirements.
- Oversee the setting up of all customer portals, spreadsheets, share points, delivery and pick up appointment websites
- Log all account credentials including usernames and passwords

- Provide administrative support by :

- Complete 2nd round billing approval on all MB/YB loads for the department within 48 hours of delivery. Everything that does not meet that threshold must be communicated to accounting and management.
- Entering driver run sheets in the absence of the Payroll & Transportation administrator
- Support auditing of equipment invoices and updating PO log
- Review daily wash receipts, maintain spreadsheet, and update dispatch as to what needs to be washed

1. Other Duties;
- Performing other duties as assigned from time to time by Management
- Provide additional support for administration, equipment and human resources as needed.

Qualifications : Knowledge

- Working knowledge in Freight broker and logistics industry
- Knowledge of North American geography
