Mirage Pools is in search of Swimming Pool Service Technician(s) to join our growing company.

We are seeking both Senior Experienced Technicians as well as new entry level Junior Level Technicians to join our team. The roles and responsibilities as well as the compensation will be predicated on your contribution ability for our team. For Senior Technicians we will speak more in-depth about your past experiences and about crafting a role, compensation and benefit plan for you.

Basic Position Summary :

- Performing a variety of service calls for residential pool customers in the Halton (Burlington, Oakville mainly) & the Hamilton Region (Waterdown, Ancaster & Dundas mainly).
- Service Calls included; Pool Openings, Pool Maintenance, Pool Closings, Diagnostic and Repairs for Systems, Installation of Replacement Equipment (Pumps, Filters, Salt Systems, Heaters, Automation), Replacement Swimming Pool Liners and Leak Detection and Repairs.
- Also work on a variety of service projects throughout the remainder of the pool season such as pool maintenance, renovation & repair projects.
- Junior Technicians will assist Senior Technician to assess, diagnose and repair problems according to industry regulations, and best practices.
- Work with a swimming pool opening and closing teams
- opening season months (March to June - weather dependent)



and in the closing season months (September/October/possibly early November - weather dependant).
- Lots of earning potential. Monday to Friday (starting at 7:00 am to approx. 5-7pm) and some planned Saturdays (8am - 4pm). Many extra Hours during peak Opening and Closing Season.
- Overtime paid after 50 hrs/week

Some Primary Responsibilities :

- Work efficiently to complete a daily list of a variety of pool service tasks
- Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing for long periods of time
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions (wind, rain, heat etc.)
- Safe handling of pool chemicals, “Safety First” mentality at all times
- Wearing the provided Personal Protective Equipment
- Attention to detail, leave each job site cleaner than you find it
- Maintain a professional image and attitude with all employees, management, executives and customers

Job Specific Competencies :

- Any outdoor working experience is an asset
- Experience with basic hand tools or being generally handy is an asset
- CSA approved safety boots and weather appropriate clothing
- Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
- Valid G2 or G-License, clean driver’s abstract

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
