Prepare nutritious meals for Cogir Senior Living residents, guests, and employees while applying food handling and therapeutic diet expertise. This Cook role supports retirement residence dining services.

Reporting to the Culinary Manager, the Cook prepares and delivers food across Cogir Senior Living residences. Responsibilities include reviewing menus, following standardized recipes, and serving meals attractively. The position also supports special diets, food safety, temperature audits, and dietary department procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and deliver food for residents, guests, and employees
- Review menus and production sheets before preparing meals
- Prepare and serve therapeutic and specialty diets




- Complete daily temperature audits and record findings
- Follow recipes, production charts, menus, budgets, and service schedules

Requirements:
- Food Handler's Certificate
- Large quantity food preparation experience
- Experience with special and therapeutic diets
- Knowledge of provincial food premises regulations
- Ability to lift heavy, hot items and stand most shifts
