Wages: $38.44 hourly / 30 hours per week

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Responsibilities:
• Organize, assign and supervise the daily activities of dispatch staff, truck drivers and other transportation personnel to ensure smooth operations.
• Plan and oversee transportation schedules, load assignments, pickups and deliveries to ensure shipments are completed on time.
• Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, customers and other departments to manage transportation activities and resolve scheduling issues.
• Monitor daily operations, address delivery delays and other work-related problems, and recommend ways to improve efficiency and service quality.




• Prepare and maintain reports related to shipments, transportation schedules, staff activities and daily operations.
• Train employees on job duties, company procedures and safety requirements, and provide guidance when needed.
• Supervise 5–10 employees, review their work, conduct performance evaluations and arrange additional training when required.
• Ensure transportation activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
