Responsibilities
Tasks
Measure, cut, and shape wood, drywall, and other materials accurately
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
Build frameworks including walls, floors, doors, windows, and staircases
Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
Supervise other workers
Estimate costs and materials
Inspect and repair damaged structures when needed
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
Collaborate with supervisors, subcontractors, and team members to complete projects on time
