The Store Manager position contributes to the success of City Avenue Market by directing store operations, leading employees, and ensuring excellent customer service and efficient day-to-day performance.

• Title of position: Store Manager
 Location: 3151 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6K 2H2
 Wage: $45.00 / hour, monthly salary $5,850.00
 Start Date: As soon as possible
 Vacancies: 1 vacancy
 Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
 Hours of work: 30 hours per week
 Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Main job duties include:
• Plan, direct and evaluate the daily operations of the store.
• Manage staff, assign duties, prepare work schedules and monitor employee performance.
• Study market trends,



customer demand and competitors to determine merchandise and services to be offered.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, pricing and relationships with suppliers while controlling operating costs.
• Resolve customer concerns, implement operational procedures and ensure compliance with health, safety and store policies.

We are looking for someone with the following skills:
 Robust leadership, staff supervision and team-building skills
 Well organized with excellent planning, problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
 Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills
 Able to work independently, make sound decisions and perform effectively in a fast-paced retail environment

Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Bachelor degree
Minimum experience: 2 years of related retail management experience
