Burr Electric Ltd. located at 1465 Rupert St, North Vancouver, BC V7J 1G1 is recruiting an Electrician to join our team. The salary offered is $44.00 per hour working 40 hours per week.

Burr Electric is a growing electrical contractor serving residential, commercial, and EV charging projects throughout the Lower Mainland. This is a full time, year-round position. We offer a group benefit package with medical and dental coverage. Our ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience on a variety of residential and commercial projects, including new installations, service work, renovations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and EV charging infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
· Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications
· Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently
· Complete residential and commercial electrical installations




· Perform service calls and customer-facing work professionally
· Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety standards
· Maintain accurate project documentation and materials tracking
· Work collaboratively with project managers, clients, and other trades
· Promote a safe and positive work environment

Requirements and Qualifications

· Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a qualified electrician
· Must have a Red Seal or completed vocational education in the electrician certification
· Valid BC driver's licence and reliable transportation
· Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
· Experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
· Professional attitude with excellent communication skills
· Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
· Must have own vehicle
· Must have basic computer skills
