Wage:
$43.58 per hour – 35 hours per week

Location of Work:
200 Rockcliffe Court, Toronto, ON plus various locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

Skills/Job Description:
• Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcements materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or into surfaces according to grade
• Fill hollows and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete
• Operate power vibrator to compact concrete
• Level top surface of concrete according to grade & depth specifications using straightedge or float
• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete
• Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete
• Waterproof, damp-proof and restore concrete surfaces
• Repair,



resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of floors, walls, roads and other concrete structures

Work Conditions/Job Requirements:
• 2 to 3 years or more of experience in concrete finishing
• Physical strength to handle heavy loads
• Physically demanding work; bending, crouching, kneeling; repetitive tasks
• Positive hand-eye co-ordination
• Organization and cleanliness
• Ability to learn and develop practical skills
• Capable of observing all health and safety codes
