Our client, warehousing and logistics operations is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the equipment operations group supporting day-to-day warehousing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Richmond, BC
Pay Range: $24/hr
Shift: 2:00am to 10:30am

What's the Job?

- Operate and drive equipment such as trucks and forklifts to support warehousing activities
- Perform material handling tasks including receiving and moving materials safely and efficiently
- Support the transport of goods within the facility to keep operations flowing
- Assist with equipment operation duties that contribute to accurate handling and timely movement of materials
- Follow procedures that support quality control and effective distribution of goods

What's Needed?

- Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions clearly
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, and basic repair/maintenance concepts
- Ability to read blueprints (if required for the role)
- If required, ability to obtain the necessary equipment operation certification or licenses; forklift operators license may be required and a commercial driving license may be required
