Job Summary:
One of our client is looking for an experienced Industrial Sewer to join their team. This position is a key role within our Upholstery department and new product design. Exceptional execution skills are a necessity in this role with the ability to sew with both single and double stitch machines and understanding the upholstering of products with a strong attention to fine detail.
Schedule: Mon-Fri / Morning Shift
Pay rate: $19.00
Responsibilities:
- Operates single, double or multi-needle sewing machines to join sections of material or other articles into finished products on a piece-work or production basis.
- Operate machines to sew edges of material simultaneously
- Examine material and operate sewing machines to repair materials and other articles during the manufacturing process
- Complete production reports
- Taking responsibility for work done by double-checking work for accuracy and ensure quality control and signing the work order.
Qualifications:
· Must have 1-2 years’ experience as industrial sewer
