A Successful Candidate would:

- Maintain cleanliness of all work areas including customer vehicles.
- Perform the authorized work described on the work orders efficiently and accurately, based on the dealer and manufacturers standards.
- Determines the cause of any defect and repairs it upon customer approval.
- Detects the defects in the Vehicle/Equipment, based on the customer’s concern and his/her own inspection.
- Installs the optional equipment/accessories requested by the customer or the dealer.
- Notifies the Service Advisor and/or the Manager,



as soon as possible, if additional work is required, if the work described is unnecessary or if the repairs cannot be completed due to parts delay or other.
- Accurately and clearly documents all work performed and recommended on the work order.
- Actively participates in required training programs and attends offsite training events sponsored by the manufacturer in order to maintain qualifications.
- Familiarizes and keeps up-to-date on the manufacturer’s technical bulletins.
- Supervises the work of the Apprentice Technicians, as requested.
- Keeps abreast of Federal and Provincial Regulations and Municipal Bylaws governing the removal of hazardous waste, etc.; understands and observes them.
- Uses all tools and equipment carefully.
- Conducts themselves at all times in a civil, professional and polite manner both with fellow staff and customers.

This position is a permanent full-time position with hours of operation Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, some Saturdays may be required.

Experience/Education:

Valid Automotive Service Technician Certification minimum 2 years

Valid G Class Driver’s Licence

Valid Ozone Depletion Licence

Pay: $50,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
