We are seeking immediately a skilled individual for our Corner Brook Furniture and Appliance warehouse which supplies our retail business. The responsibilities of this position would involve the daily operating of an Order Picker to receive, store and load stock along and load stock along with associated other warehouse duties. This is a temporary position with a duration of approximately 2-4 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload truck and container shipments daily with a stock picker ensuring all products are received, stored and organized in a safe and highly efficient manner
- Help with the trailer loading of outbound goods and customer pick ups
- Rearranging furniture and appliance stock to optimize space
- Any other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager
Hours of Work
32+ hours per week; weekdays only, no evenings!
Rate of Pay
Commensurate with skills and qualifications
What We Are Looking For
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Energetic and organized
- Previous warehouse experience is not essential but a definite asset
Your “Must Have” Skill Set
- Must have a documented Class 11 electric order-picker / stock picker operator training
- Current training on Crown SP3500 Picker
- Current Workplace NL – approved Fall Protection Certification including harness and lanyard selection, peruse inspection, and elevated operation
