Coordinate invasive species control through Integrated Pest Management for the Town of Caledon, with regular travel across municipal sites.

This contract coordinator reports directly to the Manager, Parks Operations & Forestry. You will plan programs, create operating procedures, collaborate with regional partners, and supervise in-house and contracted staff. The work includes versatile scheduling, on-call duties, and urgent responses when required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan invasive species management programs and procedures
- Align practices with policies and legislated requirements
- Collaborate with Peel municipalities and Conservation Authority staff
- Supervise staff and coordinate functional groups




- Manage escalated public issues and operational communications

Requirements:

- Diploma in Forestry, Landscape Technician, or related discipline
- Three to five years' Integrated Pest Management experience
- Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and knowledge of CityWide
- Flexible schedule with travel, on-call, and weekend availability
