We are looking for an experienced U.S. Accountant & Tax Specialist to join our client’s team remotely and support a U.S.-based company with bookkeeping, tax preparation, and financial reporting.

This position requires availability during standard U.S. Eastern Time (EST) business hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage company and client bookkeeping using QuickBooks Desktop.

- Prepare individual and business U.S. tax returns.

- Complete and submit state sales tax filings.

- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts.

- Review accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Maintain organized financial documentation for tax and audit purposes.

- Collaborate effectively with team members based in the United States.

- Ensure all tax filings are completed on time while maintaining strict confidentiality of financial information.

- Proven experience using QuickBooks Desktop in a professional accounting environment.

- Strong working knowledge of ProSeries Desktop.

- Hands-on experience preparing U.S. individual and corporate tax returns.

- Solid understanding of U.S. federal and state tax regulations.





- Experience preparing and filing sales tax returns.

- Strong bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals.

- Good written and verbal English communication skills.

- Reliable computer equipment and reliable high-speed internet connection.

- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and remain available during EST business hours.

Nice to Have

- Previous remote experience supporting a U.S. accounting or tax practice.

- Familiarity with IRS Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120-S.

- Experience managing accounting for multiple companies or clients.

- Knowledge of payroll processing and year-end reporting requirements.

- Experience working with confidential financial and tax data.
