About the role We are a professional family of two physicians seeking an experienced, caring, reliable and well-organized person for a long-term role. You will support two lovely school-aged children while keeping day-to-day household routines running smoothly. Our 8-year-old son needs more hands-on support with school pickups and activities; our 12-year-old daughter is largely independent. Key responsibilities

- Prepare breakfast, school lunches and ( optional - healthy family meals); comfort with Indian or South Asian home-style cooking is an asset.
- Support morning routines, school pickups and transportation to after-school and extracurricular activities.
- Handle regular housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and household organization.
- Maintain a safe, calm and organized home environment; communicate proactively with the parents.

Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant childcare, family assistant or household management experience.
- Valid driver’s licence, safe driving record and confidence driving children in Vancouver.
- Good spoken and understood English; strong cleaning and organizational skills.
- Dependable, patient,



trustworthy and proactive, with strong recent employment references.
- Successful completion of an appropriate criminal record check, including vulnerable sector screening, before unsupervised childcare begins. Screening may be arranged during recruitment.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Compensation and benefits
- Live-in: $23/hour, with accommodation and access to a vehicle for work-related driving.
- Live-out: $25–$30/hour, depending on experience and whether a personal or employer-provided vehicle is used for work.
- Paid vacation, applicable statutory entitlements and a secure, respectful long-term working arrangement.
