Assess debtors’ situations and recommend options as an Insolvency Advisor with BDO’s Personal Debt Solutions team in Scarborough. Regular in-office work is required.

This Insolvency Advisor position supports debtors and creditors through bankruptcies and proposals. You will conduct consultations, prepare documents, and promote personal debt solutions. Training is provided for initial consultations and recommended options.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform initial consultations assessing debtor situations
- Recommend appropriate personal debt solutions options
- Assist debtors and creditors by telephone and in person
- Review interview forms and prepare signing documents
- Conduct outreach, presentations, and social media promotion

Requirements:

- At least two years of relevant customer service experience
- Interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients and teams
- Effective communication across various situations
- Robust attention to detail and time management
- Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel proficiency
