As a Software Developer at Botpress, you'll be at the forefront of developing innovative solutions that drive the future of conversational AI. As part of the engineering team, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable applications that enhance the capabilities of our AI agent platform. You'll use your technical expertise to solve complex problems while ensuring the highest standards of code quality and performance.
Design, develop, test, and deploy customer-impacting features
Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to define and implement new features




Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to ensure best practices and continuous improvement
Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role in a fast-paced environment
Robust proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and frameworks like React
Solid understanding of software development principles, patterns, and methodologies
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS) is a plus
