Retail Sales Associate

Staffmax is hiring a friendly, customer-focused Retail Sales Associate for one of our clients, a well-established family-owned appliance business in Winnipeg.

This is a relaxed, customer-oriented sales role in a welcoming work environment. The ideal candidate enjoys helping customers, building relationships, and providing excellent service without the pressure of an aggressive sales environment.

Location: Winnipeg, MB (St. Mary's Road)
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days a week
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday
Bonus: Year-end bonus based on company performance
Work Environment: Family-owned business with a friendly and flexible management team
Sunday: Closed

Working Hours

- Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

- Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

- Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Thursday is your regular day off, and the business is closed on Sundays.

Position Summary

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will welcome customers into the showroom, assist them with appliance purchases, answer inquiries, and ensure a smooth customer experience from initial contact through delivery and installation.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys customer interaction and wants to work in a supportive, easygoing family-business workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and assist them in the showroom.

- Help customers make informed appliance purchases in person, over the phone,



and through email.

- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.

- Coordinate with installers and delivery personnel to ensure a smooth customer experience.

- Keep showroom products updated with current pricing and promotions.

- Organize, arrange, and maintain showroom displays.

- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries.

- Submit online product warranties, service requests, and sales promotions.

- Assist with general showroom organization and other duties as required.

What We’re Looking For

- Previous retail sales or customer service experience is preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.

- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.

- Positive organizational and multitasking skills.

- Comfortable using computers, email, and online systems.

- Reliable, responsible, and able to work Saturdays.
