The Carlu first opened in 1930 as “Eaton’s Seventh Floor,” designed by French architect Jacques Carlu. After an extensive restoration, the space at 444 Yonge Street in College Park reopened in 2003 as The Carlu event venue. Recognized today as one of Toronto’s finest examples of Art Moderne architecture, The Carlu is a designated National Historic Site of Canada and has hosted royalty on several occasions. It remains a preferred venue for high-profile social events, conventions and corporate celebrations.

Our Dishwashers are the backbone of every great service. Without clean plates, sparkling glassware and an organized dish area, the kitchen can’t run. Reporting to the Back of House Management Team,



our Dishwashers clean and put away all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots, and keep the dish area and dish machines clean and organized.

Able to stand for the full length of a shift

Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is an asset, but not required. We’ll train you!

Full-time and part time positions available

Hourly wage: $18 - $22 / hour
