Senior Financial Analyst

Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in ARAG's financial operations, ensuring the integrity and accurtacy of financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial strategy. Perform scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decisions.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

Perform variance analysis between actuals, budgets, forecasts and provide recommendations to improve underwriting profitability.

Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance.

Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis considering regulatory changes and market conditions.

Interdisciplinary collaboration with Underwriting and Risk Management to ensure that financial modelling reflects all relevant business dimensions

Support long-term financial planning, capital allocation decisions, and solvency monitoring.

Evaluate business cases for new projects, investments, and initiatives.

Ensure adherence to accounting standards (IFRS) and internal controls.

Process Improvement

Recommend enhancements to financial planning processes and tools.

Support automation and efficiency initiatives within finance.

University degree in accounting, finance.

CPA, CFA, or equivalent designation preferred.

At least 3years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A;, or corporate finance.

Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Excel with financial modeling; experience with BI tools is an asset.





Knowledge of Windows and MS Office applications including Office 365.

Working knowledge of SAP desired.
