The Community Engagement Specialist develops relationships with residents, organizations, government agencies, donors, and funders. Responsibilities include program development, communications, marketing, event management, volunteer coordination, and evaluation. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop strategic community engagement plans for ministry units
- Oversee community relations, marketing, communications, and fundraising activities
- Coordinate Christmas kettle campaign plans, schedules, budgets, and reports
- Recruit, orientate,



and supervise campaign employees and volunteers
- Promote programs, events, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities

Requirements:

- Three years of relevant facilitation and event experience
- Experience with fundraising, marketing, or media relations
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s abstract
- Public speaking and excellent written communication skills
- Proficiency with strategic planning, risk management, and program evaluation
