Ensureeducation and compliance with company safety program andstandards.Conduct scheduled inspections and follow up oncorrective actions. Ensurecompliance with company policies and procedures, such as: lockout,machine safety, fall protection andWHMIS.Collaborate with departments to ensure contractorsare aware of and abide by company policy and procedures.Coordinate and conduct internal health and safetytraining. Complete accident and near miss investigations andrecommend corrective measures, and ensure corrective measures areclosed.Support all teams in meeting the health and safetyrequirements. Participate and preparation in C.O.R auditactivities. Leadteams where applicable and act as a resource or support within thefacility.Assess changes to the workplace and identify hazardsor concerns.



Provide feedback to operations and ensure impactedsafe work procedures are updated.Support and promote the activity of the Joint Health& Safety Committee (JHSC)Participate inthe company emergency response plans, procedures, programs andmeasurements.Provideclarification on regulatory and company procedures and policyrequirements.Monitors andreports safety performance through trending safety indicators forarea of responsibility or asdirected.Participate inenforcement of non-compliance of through progressive disciplinaryprocess.
