This Millwright role supports equipment performance in a continuous 24-hour manufacturing operation. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment while identifying mechanical and electrical problems. The position also requires computerized maintenance management system knowledge, drawing interpretation, and compliance with GMPs, HACCP, WHMIS, and health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair complex production equipment
- Recommend and implement equipment performance improvements
- Perform preventive maintenance procedures in continuous operations
- Operate equipment and check performance as required
- Work from drawings, instructions, and sketches
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Millwright license
- Basic computer ability and maintenance system knowledge
- Robust communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Rotating shifts, weekends, and heavy lifting may be required
