This Houseperson position supports Room Attendants and maintains guest-focused standards throughout the hotel. Duties include driving the laundry cube truck, setting up pantries, cleaning assigned public areas, and anticipating guest needs. Previous similar experience is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the laundry cube truck to off-site facilities
- Clean assigned public areas to MUIR standards
- Support Room Attendants with pantry setup
- Complete guest deliveries professionally and promptly
- Protect guest privacy and belongings while serving guests
Requirements:
- Valid Nova Scotia driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Skilled, welcoming approach to anticipating guest needs
- Organization and strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend extended periods
- Previous similar experience preferred, but not required
